In April, Michael Drudy was named executive director of the Railway Systems Suppliers Inc. (RSSI). He succeeded Donald "Bucky" Remaley, who retired in February after serving the trade association for 32 years as a board member and executive director. Drudy has more than 43 years of rail industry experience. He began his career in 1967 as a signalman with the Pennsylvania Railroad, and later served the Penn Central, Conrail and CSX Transportation in various capacities. In 2001, Drudy joined the sales and marketing department of Safetran/Invensys.
