The White House Office of Management and Budget has partnered with the U.S. General Services Administration's Regulatory Information Service Center (RISC) to create a mobile app that provides information on the latest federal regulations, including those issued by the Federal Railroad Administration.

Available for both Android and iOS devices, the RegInfo.gov app is aimed at increasing transparency of the federal regulatory process, RISC officials said in a blog post.

The app provides information on rules that are in the planning stages, still under review or soon to be enacted. Users can click on the "Regulatory Review" tab to view all federal regulations currently pending review or reviews that were recently completed.

In addition, the RegInfo.gov app features a timeline chart to provide an interactive visualization of rulemaking milestones, such as when proposed and final regulations are published.
