Webcast to focus on ELD mandate

Progressive Railroading will host a 30-minute "FastCast" webcast March 17 on the electronic logging device (ELD) mandate.

Brendan Shaw, executive vice president of U.S. sales at BSM Technologies Inc., will be the featured speaker. He will give a rail-specific overview of the ELD mandate, timelines for compliance, and guidelines for hi-rail and rubber tire vehicles.

Shaw is BSM Technologies' expert on how the ELD mandate affects rail operators of different sizes across various regions. He'll cover multiple options to meet compliance and what to do if a rail organization has already invested in an EOBR/AOBR.
