The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) recently announced Administrator Jennifer Dorn will resign pending the Senate’s confirmation of her nomination to serve as U.S. alternate executive director of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She would become one of two U.S. representatives for the governing body of the World Bank.
As FTA administrator since July 2001, Dorn helped oversee the reconstruction of the transportation infrastructure in Manhattan after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
