CSX Corp. VP of Intermodal Bill Clement provides an update on the National Gateway, a double-stack intermodal corridor the Class I plans to establish between Mid-Atlantic ports and major Midwestern markets, including Chicago. Projected for completion by 2015, the gateway already features a new terminal in Chambersburg, Pa., and a new state-of-the-art terminal in North Baltimore, Ohio — the route's cornerstone.
