Infinity Intermodal has launched a new expedited temperature-controlled intermodal service from Salt Lake City to Chicago.

The three day, door-to-door service will allow Infinity to provide refrigerated intermodal transport throughout the greater Salt Lake City market, including areas of southern Idaho, company officials announced today in a press release.

With the new service, Infinity can offer intermodal service to major shipping and receiving areas across the Northwest, they added.

Also, the company announced board member Paul Goss earlier this year was named president and chief executive officer, while Nate Lawson was promoted to vice president of freight services and operations.

Goss has more than 30 years of experience managing rail, trucking, transportation and freight equipment assets and operating platforms. Lawson has worked for Infinity Intermodal since its inception, serving in finance, pricing, operations and marketing.
