ExxonMobil Mexico recently named Kansas City Southern de México S.A. de C.V. (KCSM) its 2011 Supplier of the Year for transportation service excellence.


The award recognizes suppliers and service providers that help the company achieve its quality and efficiency goals. ExxonMobil Mexico honored KCSM for its efforts to maintain consistent, on-time service and advance its carbon reduction goals.

KCSM provides ExxonMobil Mexico service from Nuevo Laredo and Monterrey to its lubricant manufacturing plant in Mexico City.

“Recognition from a company with high-quality standards like ExxonMobil … demonstrates that we are capable of delivering excellent service that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations,” said KCSM President and Executive Representative José Zozaya in an item posted on the “KCS News” web page.
