The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) and Louisville & Indiana Railroad have tentatively agreed on a new contract, union officials announced last week.The tentative contract governs rates of pay, benefits and work rules for about 20 members.Ballots, due Oct. 28, have been mailed to active BLET members employed by the railroad, a BLET press release stated.
