CN yesterday announced it negotiated a tentative four-year agreement with the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference-Rail Canada Traffic Controllers (TCRC-RCTC), which represents CN's rail traffic controllers in Canada.

The pact would provide wage increases and improve benefits for about 180 employees. Details of the agreement are being withheld pending ratification by TCRC-RCTC members, CN officials said in a press release.

The union expects to announce the results of the ratification vote by February's end.
