MiTek Industries Inc. recently reached an agreement to acquire Robbins Engineering Inc. The transaction is expected to close next month.
Robbins Engineering will continue to operate as a separate entity. The company’s sales staff will represent MiTek® component manufacturing and material-handling equipment in the United States.
Robbins Engineering and MiTek Industries — which supplies prefabricated building components — both provide end plates and automatic end-plate application machinery to the wood-tie industry.
