American Railcar Leasing L.L.C. (ARL) recently recruited an executive from one of its rivals to occupy the top office. Yesterday, ARL announced it appointed Todd Emro — most recently GE Rail Services’ vice president of petrochemical sales and services — chief executive officer as of June 5.
Emro previously served as senior VP and chief commercial officer of PLM Transportation Equipment Corp., and held various senior positions at GATX Rail and Union Tank Car Co.
ARL sells and leases specialized tank cars and covered hoppers.
