Caltrain solicits customer feedback on service enhancements

Caltrain next week will launch a new online survey aimed at improving the rider experience.

The survey is part of the commuter railroad's customer experience program, which is a collaborative effort that Caltrain is launching with its Citizens Advisory Committee. The program will use input from passengers to prioritize service enhancements and amenities, Caltrain officials said in a press release.

Passengers will be asked to rate and prioritize a range of proposed service enhancements that can be implemented over short-, mid- and long-term periods.

The survey, which is the first of two that Caltrain will ask passengers to fill out this year, is slated to be posted on Feb. 29.

After the surveys are completed, Caltrain will review the data and determine how to pursue funding and implementation opportunities for the improvement projects.
