L.A. Metro appoints Knabe chairman

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (L.A. Metro) recently named Los Angeles County Supervisor Don Knabe chairman. He succeeds Glendale Mayor Ara Najarian.

Knabe has served on L.A.'s board of supervisors since 1996. He represents the Fourth District, which includes Marina del Rey, Long Beach and Diamond Bar.

L.A. Metro also named L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa first vice chairman and L.A. County Supervisor Michael Antonovich, second vice chair.
