NJ Transit takes wraps off Edison Station parking lot

Yesterday, New Jersey Transit held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new 477-space parking lot at its 11th-busiest station — the agency’s first American Recovery and Reinvestment Act-funded project to reach the completion stage.

The lot more than doubles parking capacity at Edison Station, which is located on the Northeast Corridor. The facility features 120 spaces available daily and 357 permit-parking spaces.

Park America, which operates existing lots on the station’s inbound side, also will operate the new parking lot.
