Metrolinx and Ontario government officials announced last week a partnership with Woodbine Entertainment to build a new GO Transit station on the Kitchener GO rail line.

Located in the Toronto area, the new station at Woodbine will increase transit access to nearby locations including Woodbine Mall, Humber College, University of Guelph-Humber and Etobicoke General Hospital, Ontario officials said in a press release.

The station will feature passenger waiting platforms with weather protection, a parking lot for commuter use, passenger pick-up and drop-off areas and a bus loop.
