Rail News: Passenger Rail

New Mexico's Rail Runner to improve Belen Station

On Friday, the New Mexico Rail Runner Express broke ground on the Reinken Avenue station improvement project in Belen, N.M.

Funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the $2.4 million project includes building a pedestrian overpass at the Belen Rail Runner Station to enable riders to cross over Reinken Avenue on their way to and from the station.

The project is expected to be completed by November.
