NJ Transit recently announced that Myron Shevell was reappointed vice chairman of the agency’s board by Transportation Commissioner James Simpson. Shevell has held the position for the past 10 years and has served on the board since 1995.

He has helped launch a series of NJ Transit projects, including the Mass Transit Tunnel, Hudson-Bergen Light-Rail system, redevelopment of the Hoboken Terminal, and improvements at Perth Amboy and South Amboy rail stations, NJ Transit officials said in a prepared statement.
