Sound Transit will host an open house tomorrow to review progress on the East Link light-rail extension's Bel-Red corridor.

With final design work now 60 percent complete, Sound Transit officials will seek input on station design plans, landscaping, station materials and other project elements. They also will review the project schedule, pedestrian and bicyclist amenities, sustainability features and plans for public art.

Design work for the 130th Avenue Northeast Station also is 60 percent complete and will presented at the meeting.

The Bel-Red corridor is part of the 14-mile East Link extension, which will connect Seattle's east side to downtown, Sea-Tac Airport and the University of Washington. Ten stations will serve Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue, Bel-Red and Overlake in Redmond.
