As part of its year-long centennial celebration, MTA New York City Transit is selling more than 1 million special edition centennial maps designed to show passengers the subway’s current system and what changes have occurred to the network.

One side of the map features an updated outline of the subway system with the latest service changes, including the F and Q train service to the Coney Island/Stillwell Avenue terminal, which reopened May 23 after an 18-month restoration project.

The map also includes improved graphic representations of part-time and express subway lines.

The other side of the map features six historic subway maps and a short history of NYCT’s system, including how three independently owned networks merged into today’s system.
