UTA considers options for Ogden-area transit corridor
advertisement
Later this month, the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) will hold two meetings to discuss the Ogden-WSU Transit Corridor project, which calls for improving public transit service along a five-mile corridor between downtown Ogden and Weber State University.
The authority is considering whether to implement streetcar, bus rapid transit or improvements to existing bus service along the corridor, which connects to the Ogden Intermodal Center and Frontrunner commuter-rail station. The corridor will connect the area's major employment, housing, commercial and education destinations.
The meetings will include a short presentation on the project, a review and discussion on proposed alternatives, and a public comment period.
