Stillwater Central Railroad and its operator Watco Cos. LLC are seeking proposals from rail providers interested in operating the Eastern Flyer or "Sooner Sub" passenger-rail service between Sapulpa and Del City, Oklahoma.

Interested parties are asked to send an email requesting a nondisclosure agreement. Once the agreement is completed, a bid package will be mailed to the provider.

Emails may be sent to lam@watcocompanies.com. Proposals are due July 27, according to a Watco press release.

Stillwater Central is looking to revive plans for the passenger-rail line, which died four years ago when the possibility of Iowa Pacific Railroad operating the line fell through, according to a report by local TV station KJRH.
