  • The Southern Railway of British Columbia named Frank Butzelaar president of the short line and subsidiary Southern Railway of Vancouver Island Ltd. to succeed John van der Burch, who retired.
  • RailAmerica Inc. named Bill Schroeder director of marketing and sales for the Northeast Region; and Douglas Low, manager of marketing and sales for the New England Central Railroad.
  • Norfolk Southern Corp. named F. Blair Wimbush vice president of real estate and corporate sustainability officer.
  • Burlington Northern Santa Fe Corp. named BNSF Railway Co. VP of Corporate Relations Mary Jo Keating president of the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation to succeed Richard Russack, who retired as president of the foundation on Dec. 31.
