Freight-road ranks

  • Genesee & Wyoming Inc. named Paula Henry senior VP, Rocky Mountain Region and president of the Utah Railway Co. to succeed James Davis, who retired.
  • Canadian National Railway Co. SVP-People Les Dakens has retired. For now, VP of Human Resources Peter Edwards and VP of Labor Relations Kim Madigan will report directly to President and CEO E. Hunter Harrison.

In transit

  • The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority named Dwight Ferrell deputy GM/chief operating officer; and Theodore Basta Jr., chief of business support services.

Union officers

  • The Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen named Paul Sorrow first VP and alternate president to succeed Ed Rodzwicz, who was promoted to national president. BLET also named Dennis Pierce VP.

  • AIG Rail Services Inc. named Jeffrey Griffin VP of rail car leasing.

  • Loram Maintenance of Way Inc. promoted Jim Perkins to VP fleet operations; Tom DeJoseph, to VP marketing and sales; and Justin Clarine, to director of North American sales.
  • Atlantic Track & Turnout Co. named Ron Luedke district sales manager for the new Houston office.

  • Gannett Fleming named William Stout chairman and CEO to succeed Ronald Drnevich, who retired.
