DART Chair Wong Krause named APTA vice chair

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Chair Michele Wong Krause yesterday was named vice chair of the American Public Transportation Association's board.

Wong Krause currently practices law with the Wong Krause Law Firm of Dallas and is a former Dallas municipal judge, DART officials said in a press release. She will be eligible to serve as APTA's chair in October.

"With public transportation at a pivotal juncture, our communities require that we prepare for the future while considering the needs impacting our current transportation infrastructure," Wong Krause said.
