The Regional Transportation District (RTD) of Denver this week announced new board members and officers.

RTD's board swore in five re-elected directors, two newly elected directors and five officers. For the 2015 term, the board named Chuck Sisk to his second term as chairman; Tom Tombiassen, first vice chair; Natalie Menten, second vice chair; Jeff Walker, secretary; and Larry Hoy, treasurer.

The re-elected directors are Sisk, Hoy, Barbara Deadwyler, Paul Solano and Lorraine Anderson. New board directors are Ernest Archuleta and Tina Francone.

Meanwhile, the Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) in Texas earlier this week announced the appointment of Nicole Recker as vice president of marketing and communications. She will oversee the marketing, communications, public relations and customer services activities, as well as serve as the agency's spokeswoman, DCTA officials said in a press release.

Recker previously served as the senior marketing manager for Greyhound Lines Inc.
