The Belt Railway Co. of Chicago (BRC) recently appointed Kelly Kinggo senior director of information technology and Brandy Lindquist, chief clerk of transportation.

Kinggo most recently served as senior manager of customer success for Wi-Tronix LLC. She previously was senior manager of positive train control (PTC) implementation for CN and assistant vice president of advanced systems for Kansas City Southern.

As PTC made its way to the forefront of the railroad industry, Kinggo began her foray into information technology (IT), BRC officials said in an online post. She now will manage the BRC’s train management dispatch system as well as oversee IT level I and II support, and PTC and IT security.

Lindquist previously served Union Pacific Railroad in various capacities. She was the first ticket clerk to be certified in UP Way, the Class I’s employee engagement and continuous improvement initiative, BRC officials said in an online post.

“The accomplishment paved the way to numerous promotions and high-profile assignments in both commuter and freight operations,” they said.
