MTA appoints four to NYCT leadership team

MTA New York City Transit this week announced four appointments to the transit agency's leadership team.

Jacqueline Halldow is the new chief of staff for MTA NYCT, transit agency officials said in a press release. Prior to joining the agency, she was chief communications and marketing officer for the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority in Tampa, Florida. She also spent eight years at New Jersey Transit as chief of staff.

Brittany Montgomery was tapped as a senior adviser for special projects and initiatives. Her background includes a stint as adviser to the secretary of mobility in Bogota, Colombia. She has supported government officials in Latin America, China and the United States in urban transportation system design.

Jake Luce is also a senior adviser for special projects and initiatives. Most recently, Luce was  a partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he served government agencies in the New York City area on infrastructure and economic development.

Frank Annicaro will serve as senior vice president of MTA NYCT buses. He has been the acting head of buses since August 2021. Prior to his current position, Annicaro was chief maintenance officer for buses.
