BNSF Logistics LLC, a third-party logistics services provider, has named David Ivan president and CEO. Ivan’s career spans more than 25 years of experience in leading complex, multisite operations across manufacturing, logistics and global supply chains. Prior to his appointment CEO, Ivan served in senior operational leadership roles across a range of global organizations, including chief operating officer positions at BNSF Logistics and Vestas. His knowledge includes scaling operations during periods of rapid growth, integrating acquisitions, restructuring cost bases and aligning global teams around performance metrics and strategic priorities, according to a BNSF Logistics press release.
CPKC announced the following changes to its board: Member Gordon Trafton has been appointed vice chair; Marc Parent was named to the board as of Jan. 27; and Kate Stevenson has been nominated to stand for election as a director at CPKC’s annual shareholders meeting in April, according to a company press release. Trafton has been a board member since Jan. 1, 2017. He retired in 2010 from CN after completing a 33-year railroad career that included time at CN, Illinois Central and Burlington Northern Railroad. Parent has more than three decades of leadership experience in the aerospace industry. Throughout his 15-year tenure as president and CEO of CAE, Parent grew the company into a leader in global aviation training and simulation. Stevenson has extensive corporate governance experience, having served on numerous public company and not-for-profit boards in Canada and the United States over the past two decades. With experience as a financial executive in the telecommunications and banking sectors, Stevenson is now chair of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce's board.
Loram announced several executive leadership appointments, according to a press release. Luke Olson, who joined the company in 2003, has been promoted to chief operating officer and will assume leadership of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) business units. Todd Klemmensen, who joined the company in 2022, has been promoted to chief legal and compliance officer. Chad Rolstad will transition to vice president of environmental health and safety, strategy and innovation; and Lee Tinney has been promoted to managing director in charge of strengthening the company's relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Since joining Loram EMEA in 2015, Tinney has served as operations director.
