Canadian Pacific Kansas City announced the results of the 2025 annual meeting held yesterday, including the election of all 12 nominees listed in the management proxy circular dated March 10, 2025, as directors of CPKC. All directors received at least 97% of votes cast. Isabelle Courville, upon her reelection as a director, was reappointed chair of CPKC's board. The other elected directors are John Baird, Keith Creel, Antonio Garza, Arturo Guitierrez Hernandez, Edward Hamberger, Janet Kennedy, Henry Maier, Matthew Paull, Jane Peverett, Andrea Robertson and Gordon Trafton.

Indiana Rail Road Co. (INRD) has promoted Brian Jonaitis to vice president of business development. He has 18 years of business development experience with INRD. His expertise in attracting industries to build or expand operations along the railroad’s network, developing rail-served industrial sites and promoting economic growth in the communities served by the railroad has positioned INRD for strategic growth. "With Brian at the helm, we are poised to drive growth, create new opportunities, and enhance the experiences of our customers," said INRD President and CEO Joe Gioe in a press release.

Operation Lifesaver Inc. has appointed six new members to its board. They are: Michael Cook, assistant vice president systems safety, BNSF Railway Co.; Rodney Doerr, VP and chief strategy officer, Union Pacific Railroad; Matthew McClaren, VP safety and environment, CN; Randy Noe, AVP regulatory affairs, Norfolk Southern Railway; Jim Schwichtenberg, VP and chief safety officer, CSX; and Alan Stouder, Ohio Operation Lifesaver state coordinator, OLI National Advisory Council and co-chair and state coordinator regional representative for Regional 2.
