Norfolk Southern Railway's marketing division is changing its leadership team and structure as of April 1. Kathleen Smith will assume the role of vice president of industrial products. She currently is VP of business development and real estate. NS also is integrating business development and real estate functions into the first and final mile markets department, which will now be called business development and first and final mile markets and be overseen by VP Stefan Loeb.

R. J. Corman Railroad Services Vice President Mark Boyle has been elected to the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association's board. Boyle joined R. J. Corman in 2008 and since has held various leadership positions. He currently oversees the operations of its non-emergency divisions, which perform track construction, maintenance-of-way and industrial services.

TriMet has added two new members to its executive leadership team. Dan Blair now is the executive director of the Portland, Oregon, agency’s new transit systems and asset support division. In addition, John Weston is the new executive director of maintenance operations, the position Blair had been serving in an interim capacity since early 2023. Both executives will report to TriMet Chief Operating Officer Bonnie Todd.
