Urban Engineers Inc. has promoted eight employees to vice president roles. The employees have demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to the firm's growth and success, Urban Engineers officials said in a press release. The following department managers received the VP title: Paul Archibald, traffic; Jason Babel, mechanical, electrical and plumbing; Peter Brennan, ports and waterways; Antonio Ditri, construction services; Mark Felici, human resources; Luigi Marraffino, construction management and inspection; and Andrew Van Schooneveld, Pennsylvania bridge. Ron Swerdon, senior project manager and program management oversight, also was promoted to VP.

Kimley-Horn has added Chad Edison to its transit and rail team in a move to expand the firm's network planning and management consulting abilities. He will join the company's office in Sacramento, California, to support Kimley-Horn's public- and private-sector clients. Edison brings nearly 30 years of experience in financial analysis and strategic planning to the company, Kimley-Horn officials said in a press release. He has guided and delivered numerous rail and transit projects, including for the state of California, Amtrak, AECOM and the Federal Railroad Administration.
