R. J. Corman Railroad Group has promoted Korey Colyer to chief strategy officer and John Tudor to chief administrative officer and chief of staff.

Colyer's and Tudor's appointments mark the end of a series of senior leadership transitions, R. J. Corman officials said in a press release.

For the past decade, Colyer has led R. J. Corman's mergers and acquisitions efforts. Over that time, R. J. Corman doubled its short-line portfolio with 10 additional railroads, company officials said. As CSO, he will continue to lead mergers and acquisitions, as well as oversee legal, procurement, shop services and government affairs.

In his dual role as CAO and chief of staff, Tudo will oversee the administrative functions of IT, people services, graphics, communications and public relations. Additionally, he will coordinate priorities across the executive team, R. J. Corman officials said.

"We are delighted to recognize Korey’s and John’s ongoing contributions with these well-deserved appointments,” said R. J. Corman President and CEO Justin Broyles.
