RSI announces '07 scholarship winners

The Railway Supply Institute (RSI) recently announced the winners of its 2007 college scholarship program. The recipients are:

• Meredith Joelle Browne, representing Loram Maintenance of Way Inc., a mathematics/Spanish/education major at Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato, Minn.

• Mary Czech, representing TTX Co., who is majoring in finance and marketing at Villanova University, Villanova, Pa.

• Nathan Fetsko, representing FreightCar America Inc., who is majoring in biology at the University of Pittsburgh.

• Gabrielle Nicole Nelson, representing FreightCar America Inc., who is majoring in marketing at St. Vincent College, Latrobe, Pa.

• Jeffrey Graciano, representing TTX Co., a pharmacy major at St. John's University, Jamaica, N.Y.

• Logan Joseph Santos, representing Union Tank Car Co., who is majoring in chemical engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas.

• Sarah Aline Lee Shearer, representing Progress Rail Services Inc., who is majoring in mathematics at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas.

Thirty students applied for scholarships from RSI, which selected winners based on number of semesters completed, grade-point average, an essay, citizenship and character.
