Quixote Corp. recently appointed Bruce Reimer president and chief executive officer to succeed Leslie Jezuit, 63, who will retire at year’s end. Jezuit will continue to serve as chairman until June 30, 2009, and remain a board member for three years.

Reimer most recently was president of Quixote's Inform Group. He previously held various management positions at Rockwell International.

Quixote also promoted Daniel Gorey from executive vice president to chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.

Quixote subsidiaries, including Energy Absorption Systems Inc., Quixote Transportation Safety Inc. and Quixote Transportation Technologies Inc., provide highway crash cushions, electronic wireless measuring and sensing devices, weather forecasting stations, computerized highway advisory radio transmitting systems, flexible post delineators and other transportation safety products.
