Beginning January 1, 2016, Don Rose will become chair of TransLink's board, where he's served as a member for the past five years.As incoming chair, his priorities include bringing a new chief executive officer into the organization, building public trust and confidence in the agency, and continuing to improve the agency's working relationship with mayors across the region, Rose said in a press release.Doug Allen has been serving as TransLink's interim CEO since February.Rose is a senior corporate lawyer with the Vancouver office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP."Don's extensive corporate experience as well as his significant knowledge about TransLink will be very helpful to the organization as he steps into the role of chair," said outgoing TransLink chair Barry Forbes.
