Watco this week announced executive leadership changes.
"This new structure will better support Watco’s focus on ensuring we have the best possible solutions for our customers and that our team is armed with the tools necessary to deliver those solutions," said Watco CEO Dan Smith in a press release.
The individuals involved are:
• Nick Coomes, who is now executive vice president and chief solutions officer. He will be responsible for customer solutions and sales, industrial development, service assurance, project management, engineering, assets and information technology. Coomes joined Watco in 2014;• Rachael Peterson, who is now executive vice president and chief business officer. She will be responsible for operations, safety, people services and marketing. Peterson joined Watco in 2006;• Andy Nielsen, who is now executive vice president and chief accounting officer. He is responsible for all accounting functions, tax, daily cash management, risk management, purchasing and procurement. Nielson joined Watco in 2015; and• Rick Baden, who remains executive vice president and chief financial officer. He is responsible for managing all aspects of finance, treasury, capital allocation and investor relations. He will make sure the company aligns with the right partners and makes prudent decisions on investments, company officials said. Baden joined Watco in 2004.
"These changes will better align our teams to execute and improve every day, while always finding ways to take care of our customers long into the future," Smith said.
