April 2015 - A few peeks inside ASLRRA's 102nd annual convention

The American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association (ASLRRA) held its 102nd annual convention and exhibition March 28-31, 2015, at the Hilton Orlando Hotel in Orlando, Fla.

More than 1,600 short-line industry constituents &mdash; from short-line operators to Class I executives to lobbyists to consultants to suppliers &mdash; attended the event.

A two-and-a-half-hour reception held in the exhibit hall the evening of March 29 was heavily attended.

More than 200 exhibitors filled the hall with booths and interactive displays touting their products and services.

The conference hall included areas to network with attendees or check in with the home office.
