The exhibition opened at 3 p.m. on April 28, followed by an exhibit hall reception at 5 p.m.

More than 180 exhibitors displayed their wares or promoted their services in two halls and in areas near the hall entrances.

More than a thousand attendees filled the exhibit halls during receptions held on April 28 and 29.

Several aisles in the exhibit halls became quite crowded.

Some exhibitors manned their booths with four or five representatives.

Networking among attendees carried over to areas outside the exhibit halls.

The Atrium Ballroom was the site of two well-attended general sessions.

ASLRRA President Richard Timmons, who plans to retire in August, kicked off his last convention general session on April 29.

Union Pacific Railroad President and CEO Jack Koraleski delivered a riveting keynote on managing with certainty in uncertain times.

Federal Railroad Administrator Joe Szabo followed Koraleski with a presentation on short-line regulatory developments.

ASLRRA honored short-line safety efforts during the April 29 general session.

Koraleski, Timmons and Szabo helped hand out safety awards.
