Canadian National Railway Co. recently named Sean Finn executive vice president of corporate services and chief legal officer. He will be responsible for CN’s “People,” or human resources, department.

Finn most recently was senior VP of public affairs, chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

Since joining CN in 1994, he has served as treasurer and principal tax counsel; VP, treasurer and principal tax counsel; and SVP, chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Finn previously was a tax partner with a major Montreal law firm and a senior rulings officer at Revenue Canada, Taxation.
