On June 30, Caltrain will hold a public hearing to review a proposed fare increase.
The agency is considering two proposals: increase fares 25 cents per zone traveled, or increase base fares 25 cents and charge an additional 25 cents per zone traveled. Multi-ride ticket and pass fees would be adjusted accordingly.
Caltrain also has proposed raising daily parking rates from $1.50 to $2 and increasing monthly parking passes from $15 to $20.
