The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is developing a new plan that will establish priorities for transportation across the state through 2045.MDOT is seeking public input as it develops the plan, which will be known as Michigan Mobility 2045. MDOT is using Metroquest — a technology designed to extend outreach to a larger and more diverse group of state residents — during the plan's development phase. In addition, telephone town halls will be held and surveys will be taken to gauge public perceptions and opinions, department officials said in a press release. The department also will hold "visioning sessions" with key stakeholders to get their input.MDOT will use the responses to develop and release a final draft of the plan, which is expected in May.
