On July 17, New Jersey Transit will launch service on the Newark light-rail line, a one-mile extension that will connect Newark Penn and Newark Broad Street stations.
The five-station line will serve the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium, Newark Museum and the Broad Street commercial district.
At Newark Penn Station, the line will connect with the Newark City Subway.
