Last month, the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA) launched the Career Network, an online interactive job board.

Accessible at http://careers.remsa.org or www.remsa.org, the network offers REMSA and rail industry members an “easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections,” according to the association.

Members can use the job board to reach qualified candidates, while employers can post jobs, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria and create an online résumé agent to email qualified candidates. Employers also can access online reporting functions that provide job activity statistics.
 
Job seekers can access the Career Network free of charge to learn about employment opportunities in the rail supply and railroad industries; post résumés; browse and view available jobs based on certain criteria; and create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.

Registered employers and job seekers also will gain access to the Engineering & Science Career Network of leading engineering and science associations.
