Railmark acquires Florida tourist-train operation

Railmark Holdings Inc.’s Rail Entertainment USA Inc. subsidiary recently acquired the assets and operations of Florida Rail Adventures L.L.C. and commenced operations of the tourist train on March 19.
Railmark also operates the Star Clipper Dinner Train® in the Orlando market. The company plans to relocate other entertainment train services, including a Pullman Palace Bed & Breakfast operation, to Eustis, Mount Dora and Tavares, Fla.
Railmark also named Neil Bagaus vice president of Rail Entertainment USA and general manager of all Florida-based retail train operations. He has experience in retail train operations, according to Railmark, which also operates Railmark Track Works Inc., Rail Freight Solutions Inc. and ECORail Products Inc. as subsidiaries.
