advertisement
Connotton Valley Railway Inc. (CVR) recently filed a notice of exemption with Surface Transportation Board to lease and operate a 10.4-mile line owned by Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway Co. (W&LE).
Besides operating the line, which extends from Cleveland to Glenwillow, Ohio, CVR also would access W&LE's yard in Falls Junction, Ohio, as well as nearby sidings and run-around tracks.
CVR, which currently is a non-carrier, and 680-mile W&LE plan to finalize an agreement soon, pending STB approval.
