VIA Rail Canada Inc.’s flagship train, The Canadian, recently made The Society of International Railway Travelers’ 2008 list of the “World’s Top 25 Trains.”

The only regularly scheduled North American train included on the list, The Canadian was chosen for its excellent service, efficient and polite staff, diverse scenery and memorable cross-country experience, according to VIA Rail.

The Canadian offers three-day, three-night trips from Toronto to Vancouver.
