OmniTRAX-owned short lines Panhandle Northern Railroad (PNR) and Winchester & Western Railroad Co. (W&W) recently recognized their safest shipping partners with the Safe Shipper Awards.

The awards are presented to companies that model exemplary shipping safety by shipping or receiving loaded cars with no accidental releases in the past year, OmniTRAX officials said in a press release.

The 2021 award recipients for PNR are Brenntag Southeast, Chevron Corp., Phillips 66 Co. and Orion Engineered Carbons. In recognition of the award winners, PNR donated $4,000 to the Borger, Texas, fire department.

The 2021 award recipients for W&W’s Virginia Division are Allmine Paving, Associated Asphalt and Procter & Gamble Co. In recognition, W&W donated $3,000 to the Bedington, West Virginia, fire department.

"These award winners epitomize selfless service and care for their community," said OmniTRAX Senior Vice President of Operations John Bradley.
