Patriot Rail Co. yesterday unveiled a new logo to reflect the company's growth strategy and match its July 2024 rebranding from a "Partner in Growth" to a "Growth Generator."

Patriot Rail has been growing steadily since its 2022 acquisition of Pioneer Lines. Over the past three years, the company has expanded its freight rail services and excursion railway portfolio, Patriot Rail officials said in a press release.

Highlights of the company's recent expansions and acquisitions include the following:

  • In 2023, the company acquired HYDRA, a transloading and warehousing company, expanding its integrated logistics solutions;
  • Also in 2023, Patriot Rail acquired two freight railroads — the Delta Southern Railroad in Louisiana and the Merced County Central Valley Railroad (MCVR) in California — and two excursion railroads, the Hobo Railroad and Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad, both in New Hampshire;
  • In fall 2024, Patriot Rail opened a loading dock at the Castle Commerce Center, served by the MCVR. In spring 2025, the company launched a new multi-commodity transload facility on the Canadian Pacific Kansas City network in Denton, Texas; and
  • In summer 2025, the company opened a new intermodal facility in Salt Lake City in partnership with BNSF Railway Co. and the Utah Inland Port Authority.

"Our rebrand is more than just a new look — it represents a pivotal moment in our ambitious growth strategy to reshape freight rail transportation," said Brandy Christian, Patriot Rail CEO. "We’re aligning our identity with our updated vision to redefine rail freight solutions — connecting communities and industries, delivering locally and reaching nationally."
