Hatch has entered into an alliance-development agreement for the East Harbour Transit Hub that will be delivered as part of Toronto's SmartTrack Stations Program. As the lead design participant, Hatch will provide architectural, engineering, project management and advisory services to support the development of the hub, which will be a major interchange station on the Lakeshore East and Stouffville GO Transit lines, the Ontario Line subway and future Toronto Transit Commission streetcars. The hub will be built north of the East Harbour development, which is being delivered through Ontario’s transit-oriented communities program.

STV Inc. hired Scot Sibert as vice president, South/Central transit director. Sibert will work with transportation clients in the Midwest and Southeast on transit projects and spearhead the firm’s transportation expansion in the Carolinas. Prior to joining STV, Sibert led transit and rail planning and engineering design at a global professional services firm. During his career, he has been responsible for building transit and rail practices, client and stakeholder engagement, as well as managing teams of more than 20 transit and rail experts.
