Miner Enterprises Inc. promoted Paul Aspengren to sales director. In his new role, Aspengren will manage Miner’s international sales and technical services divisions, while retaining responsibility for several of his domestic customer accounts. "Paul will bring his 21 years of experience at Miner in engineering and sales to his new position," said Bill O’Donnell, Miner's executive director of global sales, in a press release. "This experience, along with his commitment to understanding our customer needs, will serve him and our customers very well."

Alstom has opened a new technology testing center in Vasteras, Sweden. The center will be dedicated to shaping the future of sustainable mobility solutions, Alstom officials said in a press release. A total 500 people will work there in the following domains: rolling stock and components, digital and integrated systems, services and general management. The new center adds around 10,000 square meters of office space to the existing 16,000 square meters of shop floor and office space for service operations.
